Certified in Hot Head Hair extensions, she can give you any desired look. Melissa was a braid specialist at Jose Luis Salon in Austin, so she is your go to braid guru. She has participated in many fashion shows, including the 2014 and 2015 Formula 1 Fashion show in Austin. In 2016, she moved to a salon in Colleyville, Texas, where she continued as braid specialist and became the salon manager. After years of managing, she decided to pursue her dream of opening her own salon. She has the utmost respect for the integrity of hair and is dedicated to make all hair as healthy and luxurious as possible. She graduated from Palomar Institute of Cosmetology in San Marcos California and right after graduation, she assisted for almost a year in Encinitas, and has been behind the chair since. Beyond the physical transformation, the connections with her clients are deeply rewarding. Melanie Ingram trained at the Aladdin Beauty School in Abilene Texas. But she’s got more than Aladdin’s magic in her work experience. She’s been in the industry for 30 years. She has worked for Regis Corp. training with them in haircuts and colors. She has also managed salons. Known for her women’s and men’s haircuts and styling she provides to her clients, there are other services she expertly delivers - highlights, coloring and perms.

I'm Brighten! I specialize in blonding, lived-in color, and hand tied extensions. I love spending my free time with my two dogs and reading while being surrounded by my plants. I graduated cosmetology school three years ago and have adored every moment since. I look forward to growing as a stylist and creating bonds with all my beautiful clients!
