As a Dallas Native, Luna began her career apprenticing with Jean Phillipe. Being trained by the Belgium stylist she was influenced by international education and top stylists during her time collaborating with the salon. This education allowed her to relocate to Oahu. While in Hawaii she worked and learned from Master stylists from all around the world. Picking up skills that best helped create her own artistic technique.
